Foreign Bodies

In today's society, we tend to live vicariously outside the body through images. We ill treat it, neglect it, shape it or interiorize it with the intent of making it reflect someone or something else's image. The "Foreign Bodies" series establishes a connection between technology, biology and physical concepts. The images, some dainty, some repulsive, illustrate the distance between physical body and mental state, more specifically with respect to the image that one has of oneself. This could be the material projection of a contradictory physical reality; the split between personalities and personal images.
